Pete Mooney

Pete started playing bass at age 13, and in 1974 started playing in area bands. He started in a blues band called "Inside Out", and then helped form "Sleep Walker" After roaming from jazz to disco and all points in between, Pete did some time in country bands including "Coty Taylor". Pete then left music for a while, but returned to help form "Carp and the Scales" in 1985. After 4 years of Midwest tours, he left the band to join the "2nd Tyme Around" band, which later became "Sound Advice". After many years of playing with "Sound Advice", Pete left the band and joined the Peace United Methodist Church "Praise Team". Pete still plays with the Praise Team, along with JL4.
