| John began working in music as a praise band member and music director for Youth Revival centers, Appleton, at the age of 20. After several years in this youth-based evangelical ministry, John founded several local bands including the original "Bazooka Joe" and performed with other bands throughout the 1980's as a lead guitarist and vocalist. Returning to ministry in 1999, John worked as a lead guitarist for the "Praise Team" at Peace United Methodist Church in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, and also served as a contemporary music and outreach coordinator for a short time. John founded the John Lambert Trio in January of 2004, which evolved into today's JL4. |
